One of the oldest ballet companies in the world, founded in 1773 by King Gustaf III, the Royal Swedish Ballet has a strong foundation in classical ballet repertory as well as in contemporary dance works by renowned choreographers.

Under the direction of Nicolas Le Riche, the Royal Swedish Ballet performs a repertory that ranges from the classics like Don Quixoteand Giselle to contemporary work by Geooge Balanchine, Jiří Kylián, Mats Ek, and Ohad Naharin.
